Chernobyl Tour Schedule:
* Duration of the Chernobyl and Pripyat tour: 1 day - leaving Kyiv at 9:00 in the morning and returning to Kyiv around 6:00 in the evening.
* Kiev - Chernobyl. Passing Dytyatky, at the border of the 30-km Chornobyl zone. Documents, transport and luggage control. Instruction course of behavior in the zone, how to use protection frame.
* Arrival at the town of Chernobyl. Meeting with the authorities of "Chernobyl Interinform" agency.
* Transfer to the village of Leliyov. Passing the 10-km zone border. . Visit to 30 kilometres zone through Leliv block post. You will be impressed by the tidy revetment on the edges of the road, studded with yellow signs. These ramparts are places of conservation of radio-active garbage and of remainders from whole villages.
* Transfer to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station and sightseeing of Reactor 4. Photo-stop near the 4th reactor of the station. You will be 100 m. from the main closed object of the zone!
* Visit to Pripyat (Prypiat). Sightseeing of "The Ghost Town". (If you wish to see more of Pripyat, please contact us to arrange for a customized trip; 2 day trips are available.) You will visit the flats, left in 1986 where private things still can be found: kitchen utensils, furniture, curtains, books, musical instruments, toys.. You will see the town that was left by its 50 thousand inhabitants within 24 hours. The spirit of Soviet times darkness reign here. You can make pictures of National Emblem of the Soviet Union and of Soviet Ukraine, slogans Piece, Labor and May, red-yellow public call-box and other objects that are symbols of the 80-s in the Soviet Union.
* Return to Chernobyl. Lunch. (Food is delivered from outside of the Chernobyl zone)
* Passage through the Dytyatky Control Point. Measuring of radiation.
* Return to Kiev at around 6 p.m.
Important information :
- On entering and leaving the 30 kilometers zone each participant undergo radioactivity control using Western equipment.
- Although the tour is 100% safe a strict comprehension of a guide's instructions is required in order to avoid unnecessarily exposing to the radioactivity.
- Photo and video during the tour are permitted almost everywhere (except check points and places specified by a guide).
- All participants must provide their personal data to register all necessary documents (name, passport number and series, citizenship), as well as to take your passport with you, on a trip. Participants who do not have a passport, is not allowed for boarding the bus . No passport - No GO !
- Please, No sandals, No shorts, No Tank Tops.
- We suggest you bring some bottled water with you.
- For the time of the tour, personal dosimeters are allowed.
- You must be an adult (18+ yo).
- Member registration is only after 100% prepayment of the chosen tour.
- You must understand that this is not a walk in the moonlight. By agreeing to participate in this trip you assume full responsibility for all possible risks that may arise during or after a trip to Pripyat, you will sign a responsibility document, before boarding the bus.
- In case of delay or failure to appear at the place of meeting, refusal to travel for any reason, payment for the trip is not refundable. If you do not agree with this or other paragraphs of these conditions, better refuse to participate in the trip.
