How can I make an online reservation?
The easiest way to make a booking is online. First choose the apartment where you would like to stay. Once you made your choice, you will have to click on “Order” on the online-booking-form, it will lead you to our booking request page. Then you will be asked to give all your necessary information for contact and payment. To finish the booking you will need our manager’s reply with confirmation of availability the chosen apartment for the chosen period and an invoice for payment a deposit.
How do I pay for my order?
You can use your credit card for booking online - we do not need your card number then - we send you your order number with a link to PayPal system. When you checkin, you can pay the rest of rent by cash. There are lots of ATM in the city center as well as currancy exchange you can use  before checkin arrival to the apartment.
What does the check-in look like?
All our guests will be met at their apartment. There you will fulfill the payment and receive your keys. Some of the apartments will require a security deposit. With this you agree to assume financial responsibility: for damage which occurs to the apartment or its furnishings during your stay, for loss of keys, for additional cleaning if necessary or for calling upon staff to carry out unnecessary duties. The deposit will be refunded after inspection.

Do I have to send my credit card number through the Internet to book? Is your reservation process secure?
No, a credit card number is not required. For all reservations made via internet we do not require a credit card information – you will get the order number from our manager and then you can use the well-known internet payment system PayPal by yourself.
Is the Price per Apartment or per person?
In general it’s per apartment, although if it’s over a certain amount of people we will charge additional fee per person.

What is check out and check in time?
Check out time is 12:00 a.m.  Check in time is after 13:30 noon. Arrangements for an earlier check-in or a later check-out may be possible, depending on availability and previous notice. If you are ready to pay an extra night – you can book a day before or day after depends on your needs. Also it can be arranged the day before your check-in or check-out, as our availability changes rather quickly – in case of availability you can pay only 50% from daily rent  for extra time in the apartment. The reservation department can not guarantee either one, please contact the local office for arrangements.

What is included in rent?
Service charge – water, electricity supply, heating, local phone calls, public utilities, television fee, household chemical goods are included. When staying with us, we cover it for you.
Extra fee is for the following services:
- broadband internet (10 kopeeks per 1 Mb),
- extra cleaning ($5 for one room and studio apartments, $10 for 2-3 rooms apartment),
- change towels and linnen ($5),
- food delivery($5-$10).

What kind of apartment do you offer?
We offer accommodation if all types:
 
- VIP accommodation – very cosy, comfortable and modern apartments with all the audio and video techniques, jakuzzi, sauna, unique expensive  furniture and repaired by designers. Damage deposit up to 200$ is needed at check-in.
- Luxury accommodation – very good equipped and furnished apartments, mostly with jakuzzi or massage shower, some of them have sauna. Supplied with audio and video equipment, modern decorated and new renovated. Apartments have high-speed internet connection.
- Standard appartments – accommodation of good quality mostly equipped with necessary equipment as washing machine, microwave oven, fridge, TV, phone, CD, kettle, kitchen with ware, bathroom with shower/tub, iron, mostly air-conditioning. Some of them have high-speed internet connection others – dial-up. Renovated 2-3 years ago.
- Economy accommodation – apartments with plain repairing, simple but clean.  Apartments of this class have standard set of furniture and equipment (bed, kitchen with fridge, kettle and ware, bathtub, etc). Usually repaired 3 years ago or more. Some apartments are “soviet style”.


What is your cancellation policy?
It is permitted to change the arrival date and the length of your stay up to 3 weeks before arrival – a written notice is needed then.  The deposit can be returned to the customer is Welcome2Kiev received a written notification at least 3 weeks before arrival date. Nevertheless  the money-transfer taxes and 15$ unrefundable commission will be taken from the deposit regardless of cancellation notice.

What is the difference between short term rent and long term?
Short term is the period from at least one night until two months – daily payment basis is used. The Mid term follows with 2-4 months for weekly payment basis is considered. And Long term is a stay over 4 months to one year. Nevertheless for the period more then 7 days the discounts are available.

Do I have to pay a Damage deposit when I arrive to the accommodation?
Usually no  Damage deposit is needed. However in some cases it’s required. Our manager can ask for Damage deposit in the following cases:
- there are unique or expensive equipment in the apartment – then manager have to get a Damage deposit from 100$ to 200$ which will be given back at your check-out procedure ;  
- against lost keys - Damage deposit is 50$;
- there is an internet connection or open phone line in the apartment – then you have to pay at least 20$ - which will be at your account. At check-out manager will return the balance;
- there are some cases when manager can to proceed with discretion and ask for a Damage deposit which will be returned at check out if apartment is ok.

Do I need to pay money upfront?
In case you want to reserve the chosen apartment the deposit is needed. At check-in procedure the rest of payment for the total period of stay is required. In case you plan to stay more then 10 days you can pay at least 5 nights in advance. Then you can choose the length of period you would like to pay for (not less then 5 days).  There is a possibility to book an apartment without payment any deposit – last minute offer and “type&transfer” reservation .

Is there a lift in every building?
Most of places do have a lift although some of the places in older buildings may not. Please ask us first if this is an important issue for you

Is there a laundry with washing machine and/or clothes dryer? If not, is there a Laundromat within walking distance?
Most of apartments have a washing machine. But if they don't, it can be difficult to find place where you can launder - there is no launderette in Kiev. You can use dry-cleaner's services, but there are few and the prices are rather high. So be sure that you booked the apartment with washing machine if you will stay for a long time.

Is the kitchen full equipped?
Yes, mostly apartments have full equipped kitchen with crockery, plates, pans and pots, etc.   All apartments have a fridge and electrical kettle. You can ask a manager about the availability of other additional kitchen facilities in the apartment you'd like to stay in.
Do you supply washing and cleaning materials?
Yes. There will always be dish washing liquid for cleaning the dishes in the kitchen, cleaning stuff to clean the bath, and soap to wash your hands.

Does the apartment have an extra heater and water heater?
Mostly apartments have a water heater (boiler) which is switched on when the central water heating is off (usually it happens for two weeks a year – at  summer). Also apartments have an electrical heater which will be usefull at winter time.

Are the ironing facilities in the apartment? May I ask a chamber maid to iron?
There is iron and ironing board in the apartment. A maid does not have to iron clothes however you can ask her to do it. Tips for this service is 30-50 hrivnas.

I am arriving next week for 2 days with 10 of my friends, would you have an 11 beds in the apartment ?
We don't do dorm apartments. Nevertheless it’s possible to rent several big apartments close to each other. It is not allowed to live in the apartment more persons then there are sleeping places.

How often are rooms cleaned, sheets & blankets changed, and is there a separate charge?
When you check in, your room will be clean, provided with fresh linen and towels. If you stay at least 7 days – your apartment will be cleaned free of charge. Cleaning with change bed linen and towels 1 time a week is free. Call to manager please 1 day before you want a maid clean an apartment and arrange about time. You can ask for extra cleaning as well – one day notification is needed. The cleaning with change bed linen costs 10$ for 1-2 room apartment, 15$ for 3-4 room apartment.
